Father's Day

Well first off I think this is were this post should be but if not it can be moved. Every day of the year it never boths me that my dad isnt around and I try to think of Father's Day as just any regular day but I always feel sad and kinda down on this day. I dont know why I do I got over my father leaving years ago but I still feel this way every Father's Day. So I am just wondering if anyone has suggestions on how I can feel better because the day is coming soon. And if anyone else feelsl like this too?

I'm in a similar situation myself, but I try not to let it get to me. It's a pretty pointless holiday anyway when you think about it. Just think of all the money you save on cards. :)

Try to forget that Father's Day is coming and focus your mind on something else, that should clear your mind of those thoughts.
Something else you could do is giving a gift to your mother instead, because she probably has been your mother and father since your father left you.

I think Father's Day is pointless. And Mother's Day. Sure, I have a Mum and a Dad. But I just don't care. I mean, I can't have birthday partys because my birthday is so close to Mother's Day. And this year I'm leaving for camp on Father's Day. Which obvously makes me feel like crap. They're just two more holidays to waste your money on. Screw it. Screw it all!
