Hey all,
Not been on here in ages! Not sure if anyone remembers me, but I used to be on here all the time, then I made a new account, because I kinda wanted a fresh start, and since then, I've not really been on much!

Anyway...

Really, I'm just venting more than anything I guess, but here goes anyway...

Today is my last day of college. I'm in my last year at the college, so I won't be back there next year. So I should be celebrating, and don't get me wrong I am, but theres still something bothering me..

Theres this girl there, a few years below me. She's 15, I'm 18.. Not exactly an ideal age gap I know, but she's rather mature for her age, and most of the people that she knows and hangs around with are around my age.

We're pretty close, which is something for a start, because I'm generally a rather quiet person until you get to know me. I kinda have feelings for this girl. I have no idea if she actually knows or not, but thats besides the point.
I decided yesterday that I was just gonna go and tell her how I felt. And of course, what happens?

Quite literally half an hour after deciding that, she was asked out by some guy and to cut a long story short, their now going out. Don't get me wrong, if she wants to go out with the guy then I don't have a problem with it, and he's a nice enough guy, but its just that something like this ALWAYS happens! Kinda frustrating to say the least...

I don't know what to say other than this. You should've talked to her about it sooner. I know it is nerve racking and can make you stressed but you guys might've started going out had you talked to her about your true feelings sooner. What did she say to you? Was she happy you told her how you feel or was she quiet about it? By the way someone reacts you can always tell how they feel about you.

It may feel depressing now, but don't let it get you down because, as the old saying goes of course, there are plenty of fish in the sea.

Ouch... sorry man! That sucks! Well... there are 2 possiblities here...

1.- Wait for her
2.- Get someone else

Choose whatever seems best for you, if you can't live with the feeling of letting her go, well... wait and see what happens! If you can... just meet someone else!

GOOD LUCK!!

Sometimes life deals you bad hands. However, if you start believing that "bad things always happen to me" your prophecy will often come true. Remember that luck doesn't choose victims.

Now, for your situation with this girl. To put it bluntly, the best thing you can do is move on. I know it's difficult, but if you spend the next weeks/months/years wishing you were with her, you're going to be miserable. Keep being friends, but meet other girls, and chances are you won't be as upset that you let this one get away.

Plus, you never know what could happen down the road, and believe me when I say that girls get jealous very easily. So (ironically), if you're constantly around other girls, the one you want right now may start to have more of an interest in you.
