I want to (I think) get help about my moods, SH, everything. But I don't know where I'd go, who to turn to. I don't really want friends/family finding out... I'm just getting tired of my moods affecting everything and everyone...Help? Please :confused:

Well the first, and most important things to do, is to talk. About it, about why you SH, its all relevant. If you don't want to talk to a teacher, parent, counsellor etc initially, talk to a friend, a confidant, anyone. Even someone off here. PM if you want, anytime. Once you start talking about it, you'll discover why you do it, why what makes you do it happens, and you'll eventually be able to deal with it, and say goodbye to SH forveer.

Its good that you want to get help.
Just talk to someone you feel comfortable with, like a good friend or a counsellor like Alex said.
Once you have all of your problems out in the open it will help you to see what causes you to SH

Who to turn to?
well, you can turn to anyone really, anyone you trust enough to confide in. Yeah, it's gonna be hard and I won't lie to you most of the time you will feel even worse then you actually did when you didn't talk about it. To be able to solve things first you need to find the actual cause of your mood swings and once you find that cause you'll be more capable of sorting yourself out. There's no point trying to get better and free from self harm if you're not actually going to solve the problems that you're facing, running away from them and pushing then away really won't help. Talk to yourself, write a blog everyday and you'll soon see why you self harm, what causes it, and how you can figure out how to deal with it. You have to be willing to get help and not run away.. To actually get help. I'm nearly always around, feel free to pm me and I'll do my best to help. Stay strong :)
