This is the deepest I have ever cut...I diddnt mean to go that deep or big...my blade sliped because I was crying and shaking. Its gone really deep. I have wrapped it in a bandage and held it, but its still bleeding like half an hour later. I have had to change the dressings twice and im not sure If it will need stitches or not...Its the first one I have ever done on my arm scince the first time I cut a year ago...Its on my upper arm, about short sleeve length, but I dont know what Im going to do, you dont suddenly get such a huge, even cut like that by accident and its perfectly visible. Also, I didlots and lots of little cuts on my hand, and blamed it on a smashed cup. I dont think my mum believed me. ''They look like blade cuts.''. I feel so stupid now that someone will find out. I have been so suicidal lately and I went crazy last night, I also slashed up my chest just below my bra. there are about 50 medium cuts there too. I dont know what to do...My body is a mess...And its all my fault... :(

Does your mum know you cut? But the only thing I can suggest is just keep the pressure on it, and don't keep lifting it off to check its stopped bleeding...Get some of that tape stuff for bandages (if you have any) and tape it to your arm so it doesn't keep moving the wound.
Argh, I really don't know what else to say :( D: sorry this isnt more helpful :( :/ xx

I'm sorry to hear that and I cant judge however, if you see the cut and you can see the fatty tissue then you may need them.
I done one of these and all the stitches will do if prevent bad scaring.
I don't know what time it is where you are but why don't you go to the ER? Can you get someone to take you there?

I'd say deal with it now, deal with the consequences with your parents later.

Im afraid she doesnt know at all. Its stopped bleeding as much now, but its still trickling. Thanks for the advice, it helped a lot :)

Id rather have scars and come up with an excuse than go to ER. Its 2AM here and I dont think my parents could. They dont know I cut and if I just wake them up with this wound they will know what it is. Luckily, I dont think its gone deep enough for ER anyway, looking at the cut without all the blood. I have lost a lot of blood. As in half a roll of loo roll much. Im not kidding. It has literally stained the toilet water bright red. I feel dizzy and i keep loosing focus, Is it because I have lost a lot of blood?

Don't take the bandage off, keep wrapping over the bled-through dressings. Taking it off will reopen the wound.
Put a bit of torn fabric over the wound and wrap gauze around it until it's completely covered and tie it so it won't slide down.
Put ointment on the littler cuts so you don't get infection, and talk to your mom immediantly. If you have a severe cut that won't stop bleeding, you could easily bleed to death. And judging bye how scared you are, I don't think those suicidal thoughts will go any farther than just thoughts. You know you don't want to die. Go talk to your mom right now and get to the hospital.
If she gets upset or angry, just tell her you know you made a mistake and you're sorry. You've had a lot on your mind.. just talk to her until she calms down. Have another relative drive you if she's too shaken to drive safely.
Please let me know how everything goes.
