Just finished it and now a few pages into Middlesex, the other Jeffrey Eugenides. Love his prose, very much the same mix of discription and action that the Virgin Suicides had, but I'm finding this one a little slower, and as ignorant as it makes me sound, the subject matter isn't quite my thing.
Can anyone reccomend any books of a similar quality?
