Scars

This is random and probably gonna sound really stupid, but is there anyway to reduce scarring? Like before it scars or anything you can do once you have just done it to make it scar less? :/ Im fed up of making excuses i cant deal with lying anymore. And its summer :S.

I got this technique from a good friend of mine. Bio oil and Aloe Vera it reduces the scarring.

have you tried bio oil? it speeds up the healing, so the scares fade quicker :)

No i havent tried the oil, can you just get it from a normal pharmeceutical place? i sound really stupid but i have never heard of it before :S. Ive tried other creams and stuff and they dont work. Thankyou for your suggestions i will try them both :)

Bio oil is commonly used for the likes of stretch marks during pregnancy and so is widely available even sold in some supermarkets, aloe vera too

There (Well not that I know of) Is any way to reduce scaring before you actually cut or whatever, because it is actually tissue so nothing can be done before.
However after, as have been said and also savlon helps. It probably isn't as good as bio oil but I think that it is better value and more easy to get.
Also I know that my mum would say something if I had brought bio oil :) x

Anything that keeps the cut clean and doesn't prevent healing.

FYI.
Picking at the scabs makes it scar worse.

probably a good thing. I cant' stop myself from picking at scabs for some reason and it's very annoying
