Dashed upon the ground
I step over the shattered pieces
On my way to you.
I may be no different than them
Silly girls
Thinking you could love them
Hope the only solace
Who knows
Maybe I am different?
We’ll just wait and see
Only the future will tell
Everyone says history repeats itself
Maybe your habit of breaking hearts will too
But I have to take a chance
Hope is the solace
