Is there a website where I can simply choose or type in my symptoms and get some results on what it could be?

I haven't known of any site where you can check boxes of symptoms and be redirected to a list of possible conditions, but today I found one: http://symptoms.webmd.com/symptomchecker

I've also seen online forums where you can explain a situation and get responses.

http://www.doctorslounge.com/forums/
http://www.healthboards.com/
http://answers.yahoo.com/

I've seen others, too, but I can't find them.

You'll have to see for yourself whether these boards are patrolled by actual doctors. Some may just be people who have an interest in medicine or people who have had experience with medical issues. They may be able to provide insight as to what ails you.

Remember that you can't get a diagnosis over the internet, and the safest bet is through a doctor's care in-person, but I recommend a dose of research, too.

I wouldn't trust Yahoo Answers. A considerable amount of people on there act like they know what they're talking about when they've got no idea whatsoever.

I think they're good for ideas. I'd ask them, and research the things they suggest.

Or, you know, just go see an actual doctor. I'd really suggest going to see a real, live, flesh and blood doctor over trusting advice on the internet.

There is a few sites which can do that, but don't go diagnosing yourself based on these. Things can vary from person to person, seeing a doctor in person is the safest way to go.
