Perhaps the ones with roaches crawling through the cold greasy fries on your plate do spit in the food to add flavouring and drop it on the floor to kick it around to soften the meat, but in general those who have passed health inspections do not.

not to scare u but my friend who works at an olive garden has said they mixed in sperm in a sauce, not that much but still disgusting. and yea if u are rude or sumthing they will spit. or at least i probably would. just dont be a rude person!!

thats why i dont eat at olive garden anymore, and if i do i stay away from sauce/soup things.

and yea but ive seen many places wipe their sweat on there hands and keep making pizza and i thot that was gross!

Only unsanitary things I've ever seen in fast food joints are people touching the food with their bare hands after not washing and not using hairnets. That's about it.

There's no reason why it should be any more or less likely that someone would spit on your food in a fast food outlet as compared to a more expensive restaurant. Its not going to happen except in very rare cases. In the UK fast food outlets must stick to the same health and hygeine rules as any where else that food is prepared and sold and the standards are very high.

I think the mcdonalds and wendys are actually more sanitary because everything is packaged and the time the food spends out of the package is minimal.
Also, their food is cheap and everyone can basically see whats going on.

The restaurants however have more expensive food that is generally cooked from scratch. Also you are there for much longer so you can piss people off more :P

Plus have you seen the TV shows that feature restaurants, they are fucking disgusting! fast food all the way :P

Anyway to be on topic. I have take out places and I have never witnessed or heard of things going on like that. We have a lot of nasty customers, but that doesn't happen. Maybe at Wendy's when they found a big toe in their chili :rolleyes: only in America :lol:

Really. As somebody who's worked in the food service for almost 4 years, the likelihood of your food getting spit in or having it dropped on the ground in the kitchen and still served is extremely slim. When something drops on the ground where I work at, you throw it away and wash your hands. Hell, a friend of mine worked at Taco Bell, and if you even dropped the cups on the ground while still in the plastic wrap, it has to be thrown away.

The great majority of food service workers are not going to mess with your food. Sure, you hear stories, and there is a kernel of truth to them, but it's not nearly as big of a problem as people seem to think it is. Unless you manage to epically piss somebody off or you get a really immature worker, it's most likely not going to happen.
