so i took magic mushrooms a couple of days ago, the trip was nice, i felt separate from the negative thoughts and things passing me, as im coming down i still feel those same things along with nature being an obvious beauty in my eyes, i feel at peace with the universe, but at the same time im anxious and a little bit depressed, without the bad thoughts, the world is huge and small at the same time

I don't think I will ever understand this lol

I'm sorry, but what are you talking about? Is it something you need to have tried drugs to understand? Because I wouldn't understand that...

the world is huge and small at the same time
ill explain this, the world in my eyes is a huge place, it's somewhere where so many things take place, but at the same time, i'm only aware of whats in my world right here right now, that is the world to me

just as the world ends when you die, only your world ends, considering you are the master of your own consciousness and being, the world does actually end in a sence, not the whole world, but your world
understand?

I know the exact feeling dude.

I used to have to use cannabis to reach that level of enlightenment but can now do it via meditation and I normally have that knowledge in the back of my head all the time now anyway.

Scary when you first feel it / realise all of those things, but it is quite amazing.

Sound interesting, but I like the meditation idea better than the mushroom approach.

@ Original Post,

This seems like you were on DMT, not Mushrooms llol

Also, I wanted to say what my view of earth and life is. I think humans are just a very complicated form of bacteria. Let's say you look at Earth as some kind of living organism, and who's to say it's not some kind of super organism? It's certainly a host for life, and WE'RE a host for life. There's more E Coli living inside our gut than there have ever been people EVER. There's bacteria that's constantly around you, like your body is fighting off that bacteria, until your body rolls over and dies. And then it doesn't fight anymore.. That bacteria just eats your body. That's what it does, I mean, that's what it's there for. Ok, if you looked as the Earth as a living organism, like you were flying into LA, you would pass over these beautiful mountains, you see the ocean ahead, it looks natural and beautiful.. But then you see LA... Well, what the heck is that? That's a growth! That's cancer... It's big, and it's brown, and it stinks, and smokes coming out of it, and it gets bigger every year. And it doesn't matter what you do, it's going to keep going. You could knock it down with a hurricane, it'll rebuild.. Light it on fire, rebuilds. And I think if you were an intelligent life form from another planet and you were looking down at Earth, you wouldn't see individual people. You wouldn't see housekeepers and limo drivers and stand up comedians. You would not see that. You would see mold on a sandwich. I think if you look at us subjectively and the way we're heading and the way we've always been, it doesn't matter how much access to information we have, it doesn't matter how much technological innovation we have, we're always going to destroy the earth. Because I think, somehow or another, that's what we're supposed to do. I think we're here to eat the sandwich.

Quite inspiring in an odd way, I like :)

i like it, were here to eat the sandwich is a great sum up

but i was on mushrooms, these realizations were more during the comedown and i had a few during the trip, im sensetive to psychedelics, so i get pretty heavy thoughts during light trips

Although I can't condone the use of mescaline as it's illegal in most parts of the world (god knows why), I do agree with the moral concept of expanding one's consciousness. From a clinical point of view I would advise that if you are going to keep experimenting with psychedelics, always make sure that you have a sitter who stays sober e.t.c. You seem like you know what you're doing anyway and I hope will remain sensible.

Yeah, I agree with this. The only reason I ever took drugs is for philosophical reasons. I use them because I like to give my brain a boost while think about things from different perspectives. I don't use them because I want to show off or look cool in front of other people. Also I've only done things that are non-addictive and for the most part natural.

And Chequ3r, you seem to be into meditation. I don't know if you use the whole "Chakra" thing, but do you ever use meditation to reach your Anja Chakra (Third Eye) to control your Dimethyltryptamine (DMT), if it's even possible.

If you don't know what DMT is, it's a natural substance that's in most plants, but it's in humans as well, and it's what makes us dream, so I was wondering if it's possible at all to use meditation to "force" your body to pump it out.
