This is a lot more insightful and inspirational than my other poems. Comment on it if you read it, please. Let me know what you think(:
Immerse yourself in the pools of revival.
Sigh with relief as the pain washes away.
Let the steam bellow above you
amongst the stars of the milky-way.
With the soothing rustle of the wind
through the leaves, the trees
wrapping their silhouettes around you;
putting your strain at ease.
The moonlight shines upon your skin,
it's reflection like a mirror of your heart.
Craters bare upon its surface and inner core,
a unique piece of misshaped art.
As your skin glitters with liquid dew,
stars shoot across the sky.
And for a moment, you forget yourself.
Waiting as the small lights die.
The crickets chirp their melody,
bidding you to say "Hello.",
Birds sing their goodnight tunes,
begging you not to go.
You rest your heads against the rock,
and breath in deep to remember
just what is smells like, feels like.
A happiness that makes you somber.
And with a flicker of light up in the sky,
you remember that one day
when he told you you were weak,
and you'd never find your way.
You smile at that vivid memory,
because he was completely wrong.
He filled your head with thought out lies,
because you know now that you're strong.
You walk through the forest,
amongst the darkened caves.
Looking down the rocky cliff side,
then diving towards the surging waves.
Just before the waves reach up
to pull you into their longing pry,
you spread your wings and fly away,
chancing a star that didn't die.
