If you shave your happy trail, stomach, and chest does it grow back thicker?

Yes it does because when you shave, you shave the lighter, less thick part of the hair. When it grows back, the root of the hair grows out and the root is the thicker part of the hair.

No. NONONO. Ignore everybody else. This has been 100% proven time and time and time again.
SHAVING YOUR BODY HAIR WILL NOT MAKE IT THICKER, WILL NOT MAKE IT GROW FASTER, AND WILL NOT RESULT IN MORE HAIR!
It is simply because you are in puberty, and when the hair grows back, more has grown since the last time you shaved. It would be the exact same whether you shaved or not.
Hair can APPEAR thicker, because the ends are flat, but that's it. It won't ACTUALLY be thicker.

No it doesn't. This is a big myth. Body hair will not grow back faster after it is cut.

I still find it amazing that after it's been stated numerous times that it does NOT grow thicker, people are still coming in here and saying it does.
I'll say it again. It is a PROVEN FACT that hair does not grow thicker because you shaved it. Thank you for your time.

I'm pretty sure it would grow back thicker because you're shaving the thinner upper part off, and the root that is thicker goes to the top. I'm pretty sure that means it gets thicker.

Nope. It only looks thicker, but if you looked at it under a microscope or something, you'd see that it's the same.
