bleeding?

I have this cut i just did, like, 30 minutes ago. Its been off and off bleeding for the whole time, seems to still be heavy, what can I do to stop the blood flow, and what should when thats stopped?

Bandage.

If you don't have one, tie an old (clean) towel around it, tight enough to apply pressure without restricting the blood flow.

Under the wrist, but I got it. My mums a nurse, so we got gauze and bandages and stuff.

For the future, i'd like to suggest that you should keep pressure on the cut to make it stop bleeding.

But you could always try not cutting at all....

If i have a nice deep cut and no bandages to hand, i use wadding with toilet paper. Lots of it. not as a bandage, but just to hold onto it :)

Its alright thanks. Bit sore, but not as sore as it was. I actually hurt my hand(same hand as the cut) before, climbing over a wall, hurts like fuck. Think this hand must be like, a magnet for pain or something.

It is hard. Very hard. like I said in a different post to 1_21 guns, it may not be a drug, but at times when you're trying to quit, it feels like it. But the important thing i know, is to keep trying. one day, I will get there.

I know that the main point of this thread is sorted but I just want to give a bit of encouragement to everyone. I'm 16 (as some of you may know) and was cutting since about 12, got addicted but overcame it, and now I'm more or less over it. So guys, it is hard, I won't lie, but you can all do it :) If I can I don't doubt anybody on here :)
