My dad has had 6 seizures because of alcohol poisoning and has gone to the hospital 3 times, and he won't stop drinking, infact now he does it even more, and he's losing nerves in his back, he can't climb stairs and he can hardly walk, and every day he verbally abuses me and the rest of family, I guess he just dosen't love us anymore.

he loves you all to bits,
it's the alcohol talking, not him.
he really needs to stop drinking, its quite clearly killing him.
my dad used to drink a lot, resulted in a lot of verbal and emotional abuse...
so i know what you mean.
but at the end of the day, he does still love you, even if he's not really acting like it.
PM me if you want to talk

Alcohol makes the best of people change. Drugs do the same, just at a faster rate. My mother is an alcoholic, but she has been trying to better herself. I'm extremely sorry that your dad has turned into something so sad, but, I'm sure he still loves you. The alcohol just makes him blind to that. If you ever need to talk to someone, I'm all ears.

Although I'm not a doctor, the first two things coming to mind are Wernicke-Korsakoff Syndrome and alcoholism. Your father still loves you but he's battling his symptoms and the only "medicine" he knows and takes is the one that brought it about: alcohol. Depending on your age and other family members, try to get him into a treatment program and to take certain medications without alcohol to address the symptoms, such as the ataxia (large spasms).
I can ramble off to you certain medications, such as disulfuram for the chronic alcoholism but you've got to find a way to get him into treatment, whether it be a hospital or a psychiatric facility. Perhaps even alcoholics anonymous may work. If your family ties are not severed from his drinking, try to get a family meeting of relatives to help arrive at a treatment and way to not only make his life better but also to make your life better.
