Brother died

So...in January my little brother Samuel died...he went to the hospital because he had an infection. Thats how it all started (all his hospital visits) He was 8 years old...now my other brother, William, has an infection and is in the hospital...hes only 10 years old. So im home alone and nobody is calling me and Im worried sick....is he going to die too?

Kayla, listen, I've been through this. The immediate family in hospital, no one calling you back, and so on. The medical staff would be doing everything they can, and I'm sure that William will return home safe and sound soon enough. Just keep thinking positive. :hug: All that it could be is a little dose of tonsillitis for all you know, just don't worry about death until there is sufficient reason to, and here there isn't. Just relax, be patient and wait to hear from someone. We're all here for you Kayla :hug:

really sorry about your brother Samuel, January is not very long ago and it must still be hurting you a lot. Its a common reaction when someone goes through an experience like yours that they worry that the same thing will happen to other relatives or friends. Really, and I guess you know this, its irrational. People get infections all the time, not just adults, but little kids, but unless its something very severe or the person has some other health problem that makes them vulnerable, they dont normally die from them. Usually a course of antibiotics will see it off.

So its not surprising that you are worried, but hopefully William will pick up soon and be back home before you know it.

William doesnt have an immune system...he was supposed to die when he was 2. Im scared.

i am so sorry to hear about this i know what you must be going through i have lost a sister but you need to just think positive because everything will work out fine he will come home healthy just try and keep your spirits up if you want to talk please i would love to help you

First of all sorry to hear about your brother Samuel. Don't panic. People are admitted to hospital for getting a new life and not for the death. Not necessarily every time the scenario at the hospital repeats. So be calm and have patience. Have faith on Him as nothing is going to be happen that scares you.

But in the end, death is a thing that is going to happen to everyone. Unfortunately earlier in some cases.
Its going to hard at first. But do not let an experience make your life not what you want it to be. Always think of it as making you stronger.
