As the title suggests i have no idea if this is because of puberty or not:

Generally i hate sleeping, i never sleep in.

I get up at 6.30-6.45 in the morning for my paper round every day since September 2008.

But in the last week or so i have been getting up, doing my paper round, as its been my holiday i've been watching like an episode of family guy or whatever and after or during the show i just fall to sleep...
I have been going to bed slightly later by an hour or sometimes 2 but still im making up for that in the mornings

Like today i must of slept for 2/3 hours more after i watched an episode of south park. And i just feel generally week. Had a shower and am more awake now but still not great.
Could this be a affect of puberty or what?

Age: 15 nearly 16

thanks

Sleepiness can be caused by puberty. It is actually fairly common and a lot of adults think it is just laziness. Try going to bed a little earlier so you don’t want to sleep through the day. For me I think it makes me even more tired. Now if you keep having the general feeling of the blahs, I would get it checked out. It is probably something very simple, but it will give you peace of mind.

Ŵell obviously it's been a while now..
As it's the holidays Im falling to sleep at around 12. But still getting up at 6 like today

12-6 and then from like 8:30-11:30 I fell to sleep while I was watching tv. So 3more hours sleep

And come 6pm today I felt tired again. Not yawning tired but eyes shutting and feeling not wide awake

Asked mum about going to doctor she said it's because I'm growing - but I have been for way over the last year and never had problems. She told my dad and he just laughed and said the doctor would laugh at you

Dno what to do now.. I guess try go to bed at say 10:30-11 but I will still have to be up at 7 and then around 8 I will go watch something while lying down in bed

So 11pm-6am without any wake ups is 7 hours sleep.

It could be puberty, usually people start to sleep more during puberty because the body is working harder to make all of the fast changes that are associated with puberty, although this doesn't mean that you are having changes in your sleeping habits because of puberty. It sounds like it though. :D

Hope I helped. :D
