is there a way to upload images from your computer to posts without having them as an attachment?

Upload the picture to an image sharing website of some description (like Imageshack), then post the link in [IMG] tags and it should work.

Photobucket has the tags ready when you upload the images; makes it really easy. :D

Yeah you can put IMG tags around them. they can be like --------.jpg or ------.gif. or you can upload them in Imageshack, tinypic, or Photobucket

if the pictures are on facebook right click and copy image URl
then wrap it in img tags
just thought id let you know save uploading things twice if there on facebook
