I am not much into religion myself, but have read many bibles including the satanic bible ( Makes most sense in my opinion ). But Everywhere I go im harassed by religious fanatics giving me free things trying to convert me... I just want to know if this statement could be true, and its something i believe. . .

Without the person people are consistently attacking (the devil), The thought of religion would collapse because people wouldn't be afraid to live there OWN life. Instead of out of a book. I think its a fair statement. any thoughts?

Before the entire ''OMG OMG Let's bash religionz cuz we're so educated and awesum (just rebelling against our catholic parents)'' I'd just like to say

Anything that moves masses turns into politics.. And politics always smells like shit - that's how you got crusades and jihads and FOR JINGO's.

As for people who are afraid to live, their in many walks of life, just not religious fanatics - though they are the majority.

I suggest if you really want an insight find someone who is open minded & religious & not a evangelist or reader of the old testament

Religious wars are meant to spearhead the truthful religion among the wrongful faith. Understand that religious faith is similar to Science and Politics in older times, people do not relinquish such big aspect easily.

Modern people are more aware of creating their free-willed decisions, something that is limited within society in older times.

I don't believe there is an entity of wickedness in all of Buddhism. So then why do Buddhists hold true to their faith, though there is no wicked figure to rebel against?

I don't think people "bash" religion to rebel against their parents. I believe that people disagree with religion as they see it as a method of control and it is outdated and homophobic.

I think if you wanted insight the last person whose opinion you would seek would be a religious person as they are the defination of not being open-minded as if they were open minded, then they wouldn't be religious.

Religious people do pressurise you into joining their religion, regardless of your own beliefs. Religion, if you believe in it, is a personal choice and you shouldn't have anyone attempt to force you to sign up
