i would've said it would be on the higher ranks of within a healthy weight, i don't know if this is fat or muscle but i would say that for the height of you, your weight is fine

Depends on the build. is it all fat, fat/muscle, muscle?

This would depend on how muscular u r.( muscle weighs more than fat)

Even if it's all fat this still sounds like a healthy weigh for your height

I did a quick bmi calculation on this website:

http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/

and it says you're 20.5, which is in the "normal" range.

I do know, however, that bmi is a flawed system and it takes no account for muscle/fat.

You're pretty skinny dude, I'm 6'1" and 182 pounds, and my dr said that it wouldn't hurt to put on some more pounds (in muscle of course), but ya, you're too tall to be 160lbs

I can't tell if it's muscle or weight. If you're having overweight symptoms it would be overweight.

@Mennonite, that bmi thing was wayyyy off, if you look at my earlier post and look at my weight/height ratio, I have a 10% bmi

It sounds normal, and it also depends on muscle and body fat index, but you are in no way fat.

I hope I helped. :D

I would have to say that you're normal. On a generic BMI calculator, you rank at 20.5. I've listed the following to give you an idea as to where you are. If you ever feel the urge to test yourself, this list is readily available elsewhere, as are BMI calculators.

Underweight = <18.5
Normal weight = 18.5–24.9
Overweight = 25–29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

I'm 6 feet tall, myself and I weigh about 147 pounds - my BMI being 19.9. I'd like to lower my weight some, but I feel at easy, knowing that I'm in the lesser section of the normal weight - as are you.

Regardless, getting out there and exercising a little more and eating a little healthier is always better!

And saying this... I should really learn to follow the advice I give... I should take up running. I just feel bad, with all the other guys out there going so long so easy... Then there's me, working up a sweat and I've barely gotten out the door. Even doing it early in the morning... There are already people out there... Maybe I'll settle for a long walk instead. That in mind, it's quite possible to be thin, but severely out of shape! xD

it depends on what you are - fat or muscle

Depends on muscle. If you don't work out, then you are probably a little chubbier but still healthy. I am 6' and weigh 142-148 pounds (sometimes it goes up, sometimes down) and I'm still trying to get more in shape.
