My parents are thinking of changing ISP from BT, to one which has no download limit and is fairly cheap.
Can anybody suggest a UK ISP which meets this criteria?

Sky Broadband.

Better speeds. Better uptime and truly unlimited downloads unlike BT

talk talk and Sky at the minute are the only ones to live up to their promise of truly unlimited broadband, both offering speeds of up to 20mb, i have Sky at the minute i really want Virgin for their fibre optic but they don't cover my area yet

We had sky, but the connection to our area isn't great. Talk talk doesn't cover the highlands :(

We were with Pipex, who I discovered are cheaper, even before the downloads. With the same download and upload speeds. More suggestions would be great though.:D

aaaaaand. don't forget it depends where you live in the UK.
certain areas only have certain packages available.

Yeah, go for sky. Im on virgin at the moment and tbh i can't wait to go to sky. They cut the internet without warning, aren't helpful at all when it comes to calling them up about fixing it, tbh their just a joke.

was on BT they cost us too much, went to sky, they sucked, went to virgin.. they suck more, moral? go for BT or if needs be try SKY again, just for the love of God don't go to virgin.

really?! that's alot of Virgin haters! My cousin has 20GB fibre optic and it works like a dream, for once you can be connection king in Call of Duty lol

Luckily Virgin isn't available here. I think we're settling for Pipex or Talk Talk

Pipex according to my dad was the worst to ever be with, it was so expensive or something. we have Sky incorporated into our TV package
