I know what I'm about to ask is going to be some work, and I have no clue how to do it, but I'm gonna go ahead and ask:

Is there anyway we could make chat smart phone compatible?

I know at one point, there was a flash based chat. Many smartphones can work with flash or will be able to soon. Would it be possible to tie in some kind off flash client to the existing chat server? Otherwise, is there anyone here who would be capable/interested in writing an app for Droid/ iPhone that would allow chat access? I'd be willing to help, but I've never tried anything on this level before.

That would be useful, but I've asked this before. The chat client runs on Java, something the iPhone/Touch isn't able to use, so some people would be at a disadvantage. However i think it is capable of running with Flash, so whether that can be changed or not we'd have to see what Ant says

Hmm, with the old chat it didn't work for my ipod there, because the chat was based with Java and Flash which ipod doesn't work with, because well.. i don't know they just don't mix. The new chat room this happens:

so whether it can be made to work, well that's another thing.

Yeah it is possible but it costs an extra money for a mobile version.

How much more is it? If people wanted it bad enough, I'm sure they would donate for it.

Although the donations should go to the actusl website itself...

I honestly don't know that that much about server side stuff like that, so I'm asking a serious question.
