Ok...im like one of the most popular kids in my school but im bi and nobody whatsoever knows it. Im really involved in cross country and track and im pretty damn good too...but i have no idead what to do. the area i live in nobody excepts and gay or bi people, all my friends like hate bi and gay people...and my parents always tell me and my bro and sister that all gay or bi people go to hell. i really want to come out but i dont think i can, if i do ill have no friends, my parents will disown me and i like wont be allowed to do sports or anything cause nobody will let me. i hate living a lie pretending im someone else instead of sombody im not. i just have grown to hating myself completley just because i am bi. does anyone know anything i can do?

Each situation is different, so you'll have to approach this in your own way. But my advice is to start suggesting the idea to your friends and family that gay and bi people are still people. A man is a man. Orientation does not change that at all. It's about time for the ignorant people to get over it. I always approach such a subject with somewhat of an anger. Honestly, this kind of intolerance makes me sick. And I've matured over the past several years. Instead of being fearful of rejection, I'm simply tired of the ignorance. I spread the word throughout my land, and I suggest you do the same. The sooner your friends and family understand how you feel about the situation, the sooner they will be able to accept you for who you are.

I hope everything works out for you. But remember, this will take time. It's not going to be resolved overnight.

Take care.

i am with the first guy also, and maybe ask them why they dont like them. I also think that if you lose friends over being who you are then that was not a true friend.

Ben's advice ftw. But if all else fails, you might just have to wait till you're older and move to a less ignorant area?

If they are your parents, shouldnt they love you regardless? and your true friends are people who accept you for who you are.
