Same with me!
I have found a hair product that does stop it though. Biolage and Brocato. They are after-shower products. Just wash ur hair with regular shampoo ( I use CREW shampoo) and then put one of these on and its not oily until the next night. Then I do it again, and the routine continues.
It should stop after pubertyy though

apparently if you stop using shampoo, after a few washes then you don't get oily hair

I used to have the same problem but then I got this shampoo called "Aussie Cleanse and Mend." It protects your hair from split ends and also helps with oil control. But I love it, I definitely recommend it. Hair also gets greasier if you touch it a lot, I don't know if you do that but I know that was part of my problem too.

I guess so, I do touch it, not a lot but I do. I guess I will stop doing that....

I use pantene smooth
I mean I think it reduces the oil to some extent but i wouldnt exactly know if there is anything better because I've only started to experiment with shampoo.
I like this kind the best because my hair is naturally wavy and this makes it so its straight instead of wavy because I have long hair and I hate wavy hair.
But i think you should check what the label says. Because a lot of times it might mention it restores oils in hair which would defiantly make it greasier (:

If you have oily hair, then you should not use creamy shampoo, you want a gentle shampoo marked for daily or frequent washing. You should, look for the oil-absorbing tea-tree oil in your conditioner. I think that this will help you, you can also take advice from your doctor.

never only use water to wash, when you sweat, natural oils come out of your scalp. So its wise to use shampoo or you could get lice.

Go to your local beauty supply store and get a bottle of shampoo that says "clarifying shampoo" and only use it every other time you shampoo. It should take the oily-ness out of your hair

I hate having oily hair since it's bad to shampoo daily.. yet I have to. I've heard that the ideal is to shampoo three times a week, but I can't. I've been getting better though. If I were you I wouldn't use cheap brands.. you're hair won't be with you for long if you do. But you don't have to use the most expensive shampoo either.

There are special shampoos just for that and you could also skip the conditioner to but don't do that all the time.

Ever tried washing with straight soap?
(as in lathering up a bar of soap into a foam and 'shampooing' with it)
That would dry out your scalp n hair somewhat. Or maybe i'm just a freak...
