Watched 28 Weeks Later for the second time today. Quite possibly the best movie ever made (imo) and without a doubt my favourite film of all time. Anybody else seen this .... thoughts of it?

I watched this for the first time last week. The DVD at walmart for both movies (Days/weeks) was only 5 dollars and I decided to buy it since I never seen both.
The opening scene of this movie was great and the best part of the film in my opinion.

granted the first one is good. but how could you say that. to be honest though, no other zombie movie can hold a candle to both films as a whole (or even just Weeks on its own).

Agreed.
I thought 28 weeks just seemed a bit rushed, was great though.
28 days was awesome though, love that film :)

Ok, I have seen some other Zombie movies. But this is arguably one of the best zombie apocalypse. I watched and loved both of the movies. The last part of the second movie is giving me a tick, I just wonder what happened to the Kids, after they have landed from the chopper. Will there be a sequel(28 Months later :P)? Wow! 2 years and a quarter :P XD

slight spoiler here as well...
at the very end as you see the downed chopper there's like a picture with the words "FOR DAD" written on it so that brings me to think that Andy bit the pilot or his sister and then spread the virus that way, seeing as he was a carrier.

He won't bite them because he's only a carrier and besides his sister may have the same genes. he's not going to be like the rest. but there will be a sequel.

I dont think they're doing a sequel because Weeks didn't do as good in the box office as they would've liked. And because Andy is a carrier it means he can spread it and like i said, the writing says "for dad" and since it was his dad that bit him .... ya know ..... if you think about it.

He can spread it ya and his father bit him because he was infected and it manifested because he wasn't a carrier. but his mother was and she was normal and so was he. so he won't bite them

yeah but he could've. i'd hope that he didn't lol but is there any other way for the infection to travel overseas?

ya as it can cross species and be carried by birds and that

ahh but thats where your wrong I'm afraid. It can't cross species and your told that in the movie. When the American doctor (Scarlet) is talking to one of the General's he says that what they know about the virus is that it can't cross species and it isn't airborne.

tbh lol your reading into it a bit much. there's other ways it could travel yet but im on my phone and it would take a long time to write them lol.

I'm not reading into anything, I just remember it from the film.

I loved both films. Very well written and it actually had a good story. That's a shocker considering most zombie films aren't good.

You are correct, it can't infect animals and it is not airborne.
But, at the end of the second movie, you can see how Paris has turned. Not only London got infected, the whole region did.
It just tires me how the infected dies, from hunger. I just hate the "Blood spew" thing, reminds me of The Exorcist. A bad emulation of Resident Evil, too.
I love the survival tract of the first movie. Still, it is almost like Resident Evil's come out from the hospital scene.
In the first movie, the fat guy is non other than Mad-Eye in HP.
