How do you cope with the urges?

I only do it when I can't cut and I've never really saw it as a bad thing with me since I never left scars or did permanent damage. So kinda still struggling with it.

I don't burn, and I never have.
It's not something I've ever thought about doing instead of cutting.
but as far as urges go.
I decide i'll go and do it in a minute, and another minute.
eventually i just decide i can't be bothered,
or i'll just distract myself doing something that i need to concentrate on.
