i recently lost my best friend due to the fact she told my mom about my cutting. should i forgive her or what?

Well its hard to judge the situation without more details. Was he trustworthy before this? Would she do it again? Did she do it for vindictive reasons, or because she was looking out for you?

iv been cutting for two years and she has known for the beginning. are friendship has recently been rocky but nothing serious but last week she told my mom and my other friends. i told my friends it wasnt true and it was a rumor but my mom flipped out

2 years is a very long time, and self harm is very dangerous, I think as a friend waht she did was right, and wrong, shes concerned for your health but she shouldn't betray your trust, you need to understand that your friend was probably realy scared for you and wanted you to not cintinue hurting yourself, I think if you believe she would only do this to help you, then you should forgive her.
