Is the pain substantial? Even if you it isnt I still think you should ask your doctor about this as you may need an x ray.

My sister had something like that, she does athletics and got referred to a sports injury consultant who diagnosed torn ankle ligaments. There was no cure but he gave her some exercises to do to make the remaining muscles stronger and she's fine now.

My ankles do that too, but I've have cycstic bones, so that explains why on my part.

Goto an orthopedic doctor, and have him to check you out, and give you the results on what they can do for you.

You could have twisted your ankle. After your ankle goes out, does it then swell up and is really sore? I would visit your doctor. You may need an ankle brace so your ankle can heal.
