I don't have facial hair so I don't have to shave:). But i'd say you proabably need to use shaving cream, and aftershave:)

I've found that shaving cream isn't really necessary, specially if you use an electric razor... try using one, or applying some cream or other lube before shaving (doesn't matter where you're shaving, it sill applies lol)

Don't dry shave? Because that's what happens when you dry shave, I had to do it for a wrestling tournament and I have a full face of hair, and that reallllyyyy burns, especially when you're sweaty... So just use shaving cream and after shave, I use gillette for my face...

Use shaving cream then aftershave right after. You've aggravated the skin and it's just razor burn. Temporary problem.

I use shaving gel. I suggest using a razor with more blades. Also, two things can intensify the burn. One, sensitive skin. Two, acne; acne does not have to be in break out mode, nor does it have to even be visible, but it can burn when you shave.
Hope this helps. :)

Try Baby oil. It should help.
