Right now I'm out of town and have been using my aunt's laptop. I go on all the same sites I have as on my computer at home and I've never had this problem before, but within the last few days I've gotten the Antivirus Soft virus 3 times. Currently I have Avast!, Malwarebytes, Spywareblaster, and because of the virus I downloaded the SUPERAntiSpyware portable version on the laptop. I used the walkthrough on howtogeek.com - http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/8693/how-to-remove-antivirus-live-and-other-roguefake-antivirus-malware/ - and it seems to work in removing it. I'm wondering why this is happening, because now I'm worried that when I go home I'll start getting this virus there too.
Livejournal.com seems to be connected to the virus in some way, but this most recent time I think I got it from reading a word document off my school's website. Is it some kind of new outbreak? Or am I just being dumb with my computer usage. I try my best to be careful and not open or download any harmful things, yet it still happens sometimes. Also, what do you think of the programs I have already (Avast!, Malwarebytes, Spywareblaster)? Should I get different ones or are these good? Feedback is much appreciated.
