Right now I'm out of town and have been using my aunt's laptop. I go on all the same sites I have as on my computer at home and I've never had this problem before, but within the last few days I've gotten the Antivirus Soft virus 3 times. Currently I have Avast!, Malwarebytes, Spywareblaster, and because of the virus I downloaded the SUPERAntiSpyware portable version on the laptop. I used the walkthrough on howtogeek.com - http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/8693/how-to-remove-antivirus-live-and-other-roguefake-antivirus-malware/ - and it seems to work in removing it. I'm wondering why this is happening, because now I'm worried that when I go home I'll start getting this virus there too.

Livejournal.com seems to be connected to the virus in some way, but this most recent time I think I got it from reading a word document off my school's website. Is it some kind of new outbreak? Or am I just being dumb with my computer usage. I try my best to be careful and not open or download any harmful things, yet it still happens sometimes. Also, what do you think of the programs I have already (Avast!, Malwarebytes, Spywareblaster)? Should I get different ones or are these good? Feedback is much appreciated.

Can someone please help me? I really don't know what to do now... I'm on my home desktop now and I got the virus again. I have Malwarebytes, Spywareblaster, and Microsoft Security Essentials now, because I tried updating the Avast! on this computer and the side by side compatibility wouldn't work, so I uninstalled it. But MSE didn't help. I got SUPERAntiSpyware again, and am trying to clean it off. I feel really desperate right now, I don't know why all of a sudden I keep getting this stupid virus, I'm not doing anything different than I had before :/... Help please...

1. Stop using the Internet till you fix your little problem.
2. Don't post 2 times in a row.
3. Have you ran the anti-virus programs to clean it up? Does it remove it?

Okay, sorry :c

The antivirus did get rid of it, and then I got the adblock plus add-on for firefox. I was really freaked out, though all seems okay now.

If it got rid of it, I don't see what the problem is. If you kept getting it, I'd say: Stop going where you get it. Stop with the porn :P jk.

I'm glad everything is ok now.
