I'm not aware if a topic for this exists yet. So, I think its a little unfair that a member needs one hundered posts before he/she can send a message to another user, I mean before I joined these forums my friend told me it was 25, so why the huge increase? I mean if you dont post like everyday it can take awhile, why not cut it down to like 75?

Like said in the other 100 threads on this topic you can still send a visitor message. We have no plans to change the current requirement.

the PMs are a priveledge
not a right
either we use the current system
or we lose it for everyone
and tbh thats not fair on the thousands of users who have more than 100 posts
You have other means to converse, the chatroom and the VMs
its for the protection of the members
im sure you can survive without sending a pm

Well the only thing I can think of for needing it is how you would identify a member on the majority of the nature of their posts, but ok I guess that makes sense....still so much though.

I don't see why you would need to send anyone a Pm that much anyway.
You have Vm's and it's not as if it's against the rules to talk to people outside of Vt.
