Look at all the pictures hanging on the walls
There may not be many, but one look will tell all
These are all the people, I’ve fallen for before
How many people? Two? Three? maybe Four?

Take a walk with me I’ll show the whole house
There may not be much to it, quieter than a mouse
The windows need repair, however
And the pipes, will they fix them ever?

The air conditioning has been broken for long
At least I know a warm heart can’t go wrong
This house, it’s not just a house, it’s a home
This home is my heart, I live in it alone

If you look at all my pictures close enough
You’ll see the frames are worn and tough
These are my flames, flat and tired out
I’ve forgot most of them as I go about

But still a frame holds a face that I can’t seem to lose
I wish these faces would be erased; that’s not mine to choose
You see, this is me, I’ve chosen my love wrong
This is what will happen; when you love a so heart wrong

Forgive me my friends for my horrid mistake
Lend me this epiphany that I need to take
I cannot seem to let him go, bad it is, I know
Yet my heart, while broken, won’t make a foe

The things he did, I know they’re deceitful
Still again I’ve forgotten all of his evil
I know, I know, I’ll be hurting before long
This is what will happen, when you love a heart so wrong
