So i'm making an article on self harm for my online magazine, I've been saying for ages i would but as it meant facing my daemons i wouldn't do it. Now i finally think i can. i want someones story to talk about, to take piece by piece and to explain to people:

why?
what?
How?
When?
Where?
and Who (not names but to explain stereotypes)?

Thing is so many people still just don't understand self harm, and all people think about is cutting, what about alcohol abuse, drug abuse, and burning? that iis all self harm.
I spoke to the editor and he was all for the idea and i told him about half an hour ago that i was starting it and i got a 3 week deadline for research.
So what im asking for is anyone who wants to be included in this to post their story here or snippets of it. Or to answer the question above and to explain what they feel when they self harm
