The Joker

(Warning: This might not make a lot of sense, I can only type with one hand at the moment)
So, a couple of weeks ago, me and my friend Michael were bugging a kid named Liam. He started to get upset, and I stopped, and tried to get Michael to stop as well. Michael did not stop, and Liam challenged him to a fight *which didn't happen).
So, every day for a week, Liam would come up to us, shoving us, asking for a fight. We of course taunted him back.
Last Friday, while we were running for PE, Liam suddenly grabbed me and threw me without a verbal warning or anything, so I didn't have time to break my fall. He broke my arm.
Now, I won't be back at school until June 11th. A lot of people are forming their own stories of what happened. A lot of these stories are untrue and paint me in a negative light.
How do I stop them from saying this stuff, and how do I deal with the negativity I'll surely be facing on the 11th?
