besides swimming there isnt much to prepare for exept that in most swimming pools you must shower nude before and after.

Not necessarily. I train water polo, and we don't shower before, only after, and not naked.

To answer OP's question, if you are referring to getting boners or something like that, i can tell that you probably wont get one because when you go swimming, you will probably only think about it.

Um...well if you have never swam before then I would suggest be prepared for water temperatures that are colder than the teachers say they are (if this is for school, if not then the water temperature should be fine). Also...well with public pools they have a shower room and many men do use them but it's optional if you want to shower or not and what you wear when you shower. If at school, I doubt they'll make you shower or anything. Most kids at my school don't even bother with the showers because they were crowded by desks and stuff so when we removed all those no one used them (except for freshmen who didn't get the memo that it was my class the year before that removed all the furniture that was in there!). When changing, well at my school most would either: A-use a bathroom stall, B-wrap a towel around and use that to cover everything when changing (I have no idea how they managed with this), or C-they wore their trunks under their clothes and or when getting out of the pool they had their boxers under as well so they could take off the trunks and put them in a bag and quickly dry the outside of their boxers. I really don't think you should have to worry about anything but your school might have different rules (if this is for school).

All I can say is at least rinse off after even if its will your swim trunks on to get the chlorine off you and your shorts. Those chemicals get nasty with your skin pretty quick. If your uncut reach down and pull back and rinse the pool water out from behind your foreskin.

If you're worried about getting changed in front of everyone, don't be. It really isn't that big of a deal - just get changed and get out of there as fast as possible!! haha.

If you're worried about the showering part, (Are you required to shower?) usually people just shower after getting out of the pool, and they're already in their bathing suits so you have an excuse if you're worried about being nude in front of others.

Also this ^ ! When I swam in school I thought I could just towel dry my boxers after but yeah.. it'll irritate you for the rest of the day and possibly a nasty rash on your balls. If you want to wear boxers/briefs under you suit make sure you bring another pair for after :D
