Post Per Day

I know in the arcade, any posts don't go towards your post count... But does it affect your 'Post Per Day'???

Nah, unless I'm wrong, I'd venture to say that since you're posting in a forum that doesn't affect your post count, it wouldn't affect your post per day count - and that would go for the other forums like the Arcade, such as Introductions. Since it's not actually affecting your amount of posts, then it wouldn't correlate over to your PPD. :)

It would be highly inconsistent for VB to do anything but make ppd = postcount/days.

I very much doubt it.
I don't see why it would be like that, it probably uses the same information as the post count to work out the posts per day.
