born prematurely

um weird question but has anyone here been born prematurely :S I was supposed to be born in Sept., but I was born in Aug :S nearly died, Mom said :S

I was due in mid-July and I was born in late June. I turned out pretty okay.

was supposed to be born somewhere between late august and early september. [idk, my mom was a retard through her entire pregnancy]

born early july with a few minor things [minor meaning it became non issue in less than 6 years]

i was born 2 1/2 to 3 months premature, was less than 2 pounds when i came out, was in an incubator or something like that for about a month or so, my lungs were colapsed and so was my heart, but im fine now.

I can relate to that as well. I was born 3 months premature. I spent -I think- 6 weeks in the NICU as I weighed 2lbs 9oz and dropped to under 2 pounds. I could keep going but like most of us here, lucky to be alive with no birth defects or stuff like that. I'm perfectly normal. Question to anyone else. I took testing every... 4 years, anyone else take a long test that focused on development and stuff? I'll grab the name of it soon.

I was 2 weeks early. My mom said if I would have been born later than that, she don't know what she would have done. I weighed around 8lbs, 2 weeks early.

idk if I was early but I almost died. had the cord around my neck. was emergency c section. was blue. I have permenant short term memory problems. I remember 2 months ago perfectly, 4 hours ago or yesterday I have no clue. been thru all kinda of testing. Ohh and I had speach problems to. havent had to be in speach since 5th grade tho.

I remember them testing me every 6 months to see how my lungs were doing and how my heart was, one time there was a hole in my heart, so they sewed it up, at this moment one of my lungs is the size of my closed fist as my other is the size of my open hand.
no clue why but my other one never grew.

I was born late May, due late July. I was 3lbs 14 ozs, and was kept at sick kids hospital for about a month. I had lung issues and was oxygen for a while. I'm alright now, aside from having(had) type 1 diabetes and minor asthma.
