so i went to school today and teachers and kids were saying America is going to have a war with Korea :(. This makes me sad.. However I don't know if America is going to have a war with Korea... does anyone know about this? A lot of people are thinkin it's going to be world war 3.. what's your opnion on this.

I've heard very little about this. From what I've heard, North Korea is threatning war on South Korea, but that's all I know.

Well I have not heard too much of this, but if we were going to war with north Korea well I think that would be stupid at this time and juncture. However North ans South Korea have always had conflict so maybe it's just progressively getting worse. I'll be watching Meet the Press then on Sunday to see if they say anything.

Technically, america is still at war with korea, so it wouldn't be a new war, just a continuation. if north korea attack sotuh korea(again) the west will intervene(the british and americans) and thus it will be war. Whether or not it will be worse than it was in 1950 remains to be seen, but america came closr to using the nuke again, god forbid. War seem, to me at least, to be inevitable.

I really hope not. The last thing we need is another war added on to our already fucked up economy. But, I can't tell the government what to do, I guess.

From an economic standpoint, I think going to war with North Korea right now would be stupid. However, I think we'd all be better off without that psychotic shithole of a country.

Well since the war is technically still going, if north korea initiates a full land assault on the south, america will be honour bound(and would probably just do it anyway) to send troops and equipment.

Well north korea is communist, which is partly what motivated america to send troops in 1950. If the the US government declares war, the people will support. (Sorry if I'm stereotyping yanks here, thats my impression, it'd be the same in britain)

North Korea makes threats all the time. I haven't heard news of any serious considerations to go to war.

Tensions between North and South Korea have been haetign up for the last couple of years, but i don't think we'll go to war, and if we do, i don't think it'll be WWIII, because we'd only be at war with North Korea, and possibly China (they are allied in a sense with NK but are also dependant upon us for jobs)

Well north korea has sunk a few southern korea ships in the past month or so. So its not surprising to think war might break out again soon. Tensions have always been high between them.

Well I too really don't want the armistace to end (seeing as how the war never did end) but did you hear on the news lately? A ship from South Korea (I thyink, but I could be wrong) was torpedoed down by North Korea (once again, I could have the names backwards). But if the fighting will restart, it will probably be soon. Currently while tensions are still high there has been more cooroperation between North and South Korea so if the fighting doesn't start then I can only see a posative outlook for the future (unless anything else happens) but if I'm correct then the most likely time for the war to start is soon.

If it does start, I don't think Obama would want to go to war but I really can't say what the US will do if the fighting continues.
