I am about to turn 18 and my voice started changing about the same time and mine still crakes every now and then. It will stop eventually it will most likly stop about the age of 19-20yrs.

it honestly varies for different people, some guys stop within weeks others could last for years.
unhelpful i know but just be thankful that yours has started to crack

No one can answer your question, mutating, as any other change in puberty, varies among people. I can only tell you that i started mutating about a year and a half ago, and my voice is pretty much deep now, and it stopped cracking.

It seems mine cracks at the worst times like when a teacher calls on me in class or I'm excited about something.

No guarantes but here's a helpful hint: don't yeall or scream or talk loudly too often...try to talk more softly. I don't know if it's in my head but most of the time when my voice cracks it's when I'm not using inside voices. (My group during lunch is very lively so you get to use loud voices often).

Yeah, it shouldn't last too long. My voice cracked for a pretty short time after it changed; now it only does on occasion, and it's very rare.

Give it a year, maximum.
