i was just wondering, for all the gay guys/girls out there.
if you only have friends of the opposite sex(gay guys hang with girls generally and yeah ya know?) do you ever wish you had friends of the same sex?
sometimes i jsut wish it wasnt just me and the girls. it gets hard sometimes...does anyone agree?

I agree with you. You need male/female interaction that way you can find guy/girls that you can relate to. I have plenty of male friends myself as well as female, but sometimes it's cool to just hang out with the sisters.
If you need male friends you could start talking to guys your age at school or at activities. Introduce yourself and find things that you have in common and make friends. I grew up with females so I know what you mean.

I'm fortunate because I'm gay. I'm not out, but its pretty obvious really. It would be no shocker to people when they find out. But, I have plenty and plenty of lady friends. Plenty. But, I also have a few very close dude friends. I hang out with them about 50 50 because many of them, I have the relationship of brotherhood with more so than any time of sexual attraction.
If you want friends with the same sex, make it clear you don't want in their pants and NEVER come onto them.

Well I get what you mean I see it all the time and if you just try and have a good sense of humor you can become friends with everyone. Either that, or you could also try finding a group that has plenty of both genders! It's what I did a few weeks ago when I god fed up with being in the library. It's actually pretty cool because you have the happy huper goof-offs, the heavy metal lovers, the more dark-ish, and a whole spectrum of people so you have a variaty of people to hang out with in my group when you have different moods. All at the same time, they're all friends and have a bunch of fun. Not to mention they're very accepting of just about everyone.
I'm pretty sure every school has this type of group where no matter what you're nearly guaranteed acceptance because their is just such a huge variety of kids.

I have both sexes as friends. The RomanCandle said, it is ok to have guy friends, just don't come onto them wanting to get in there pants.
I have always been around women, and it has been harder to make dude friends, but i have done it.
