So for several months now I've been using regular hand lotion for masturbation. However, I did some research and I found that using regular hand lotion can lead to testicular cancer and/or problems with the reproductive system.

So, I switched to a generic version of K-Y Jelly (Walgreens brand.) My first use of the product was on Friday, and 12-18 hours later, I started to notice a slight irritation in my testicles, more than likely as a result from using this product.

My main question is this: Should I go to the doctor? In theory, if I stop using the product, than the irritation should go away. Does anyone have any information on this subject? Some other people online also noted that they've experienced irritation as a result of the product.

I would leave it for a day or two and see if it just clears up

I'm probably just going to wait for a day and see if I still have an irritation.

I just got out of the shower, and surprisingly, my testicles feel better. Also, I did stroke my penis for about 30 seconds to test it for pain as well. Maybe if I masturbate without K-Y Jelly, maybe that will flush out the ingredients in the lube that caused me to have these irritations. Perhaps I shall try that later. (But that would mean (GASP!!!)....no lotion...(unless I went back to hand lotion for a day or two.)

Yeah, but according to a website I found, only some males may experience an irritation after using it. In this case, myself.

Fortunately, the pain started to diminish, and hopefully will be gone. Do you think it was because it was generic?
