With the post count faces I`ve seen, my favorite has to be the 500+ face. Mainly because of the sunglasses. My question is: can the sunglasses be on the faces above 500 also? If it is too difficult, I understand.

The avatars were made many many many moons ago for gov and the gov network and thats the only reason we have them.

My recommendation would be to allow members with say...5,000 or more posts or 10,000 or more posts to have custom avatars :D

Me thinks a new thread should be made for this. :D And to have it at 2500 not 5000 :P

I just took a look at GovTeen, and I saw that they use custom avatars, and they look rather confusing (and ugly). If someone wanted to volunteer to submit new ideas for avatars, it might ease a burden.

If we had a choice that we could choose from...
so maybe like

5-5,000 post faces
5-10,000 post faces
3- 25,000 post faces, etc.

That would work better :)

I agree with this the most than anything else mentioned.

I could try doing some but no guarantees they will look good. I say have a contest.

We used to have custom faces back in the day. I remember Matt had one. It was cool. I have a weird memory - I remember weird things.

Yes, I remember that and we actually have had a face change come out of complaints like that but that is not what I was saying.

Your suggestion and my suggestion is different because I suggested being able to choose from a preset selection of faces while you suggested in the first post just having a custom one for any one user.
