I'm going to high school this summer and i'm worried about getting naked and getting an errection in the locker room. how did you guys overcome that?

My high school hasn't ever forced us to take showers or strip into completely new clothes, but I definitely sympathize with somewhat part of this. If you can, just strip down to your underwear and change from there. Look directly at your locker, and not around you until you're finished getting dressed for class. But most importantly just know that most guys in that locker room are probably thinking the same thing you are. Don't worry about the "what if's", but rather just focus on getting ready and leaving when you're done. If you get a minor one, just hide it and do something like trying to find money in your bookbag, etc. Basically just waiting it out. I never physically had one during gym, but I sure as everything worried about it all the time. :P

Just focus on showering or changing, don't look at other people's bodies if you are worried about getting a boner.Before long it will be no big deal at all and you will be used to showering with other people.

I never use locker rooms ever. If I were you, I would just get it and get out. Just think about something else while in there.

Really, just by being in a lockerroom naked alot, an being around other guys naked, you get alot more comfortable...

Try to keep your mind off sexual things...or don't look at the people you find attractive for long periods of time.

well, if your school makes you do that, which they often don't, there are a few methods. in the shower just think of nothing sexual and don't look at anyone else, just look up or down. also, just try to get in and out quickly, the longer you stay in the higher chance of you losing concentration and accidentally getting an erection.

well you probally get use to being naked in the locker room its normal to be scared of being naked in the locker room with a bunch of other people of the same sex so you just dont think that they are in there and act normal.

My school doesn't make us go in the 'nude' at all.. I think it is probaly against the rules? But usually if I try to not think about it (I know it sounds weird) I end up with a bnr.. Dunno usually I just think abt my next calss or summin instead, and if you did get and erection, just don't say anythin and get changed quickly lol ;)

My recommendation for getting more confident around people being naked and hopefully not getting erect, is to go swimming. The locker rooms in swimming pools are generally open plan (in the UK anyway..) without any cubicles or shower doors. Which means that people get changed around each other, doing this regularly should make you more confident at school.

My School dosent make us at all. The more u think about getting undressed the more aroused you might get. I remember the 1st day of p.e in middle school and we had to get dressed. IT wasn't as bad as i thought. Just hurry take your pants off and put your gym pants on and its all over :)

Just don't worry. You all are guys and if they have a problem with seeing you naked it's their problem. Oh and don't think about anything sexual. Keeps from getting a boner. Your welcome:)
