Ok so mac heads out there, there are a ton of apps out there that get you youtube vids with a few clicks. But i haev a way without any apps or webpages!
What you need:
A mac (Im working on the windows version)
Apple keyboard
A youtube vid. :)
Eyes.
Start:
Look at the url of your vid you want:
http://i387.photobucket.com/albums/oo317/meman97/Screenshot2010-05-22at12248PM1.png
Then add "&fmt=18" to the end of the url and hit enter:
http://i387.photobucket.com/albums/oo317/meman97/Screenshot2010-05-22at12324PM.png
After this push: Command, option a. And it will bring up the activity window for Safari:
http://i387.photobucket.com/albums/oo317/meman97/Screenshot2010-05-22at12638PM.png
This shows you what your browser is doing.
Now what you need to do is look for the biggest file. On my picture you can see it is:
http://i387.photobucket.com/albums/oo317/meman97/Screenshot2010-05-22at12832PM.png
(When it say "### of ### *#s being numbers* this means the file is still loading. The video is what takes the longest and is the biggest so its easy to see!)
From here, click it (sometimes you might need to double click) and it will start to download. Wait for it, and *depending on how you have your downloads set up* it will be in your downloads folder.
:3 does it work for everyone?
