Talk to someone at her school, you can even report it to the police, but talk to someone at the school first before. Get her to try and catch someone in the act.

I would report it to the police but use the non-emergency line not 911 (or go to your local precinct) as this is not only vandalism but could be considered criminal trespass. and I don't see how anyone at the school can help as their authority stops the moment you step off the bus (or drive home)
