I dont feel that way myself and I wouldnt say its common for people to feel like that, but you are certainly not the only one. Its interesting that you only feel that way sometimes.

Like Nick said, Your not the only one who feels this way. I don't feel like that, but I can understand how it would feel to be like that.

I feel like a genderless being trapped in a gendered body. Not quite the same, but there are a number of similarities still. Being frustrated - with one's physical features, and especially when the external world reminds oneself of the fact of being 'a boy' or 'a girl', often accompanied with reference to gender-stereotypes - and the whole list of implications arising from that.
Inability to identify with one's physical form doesn't seem to be an experience that a majority of people can relate to, no. I have come across several people who claimed to feel/have felt this way, however, so it is certainly not as rare as it may seem.
It is likely that your current position will shift over time - either the experience will pass, or it could otherwise heighten. I personally did not start to notice this in myself until well into puberty - until I began to understand the true implications, metaphysically, of being the biological gender that I am. (Prior to that, gender was more or less always a non-issue) For now, the best thing to do is observe, and try to understand the dynamics behind it. The clearer the understanding, likewise will be the message which the experience is attempting to convey.

personally, i dont feel that way. but it's totally normal. it's natural to feel unsure as to your "true" gender no matter what body you are in. people like to question themselves, and others for that matter.

I feel like I'm trapped in a girl's body. Sometimes I enjoy being female, but other times I want to be a guy. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a guy. So I've struggled with this for a while now. I decided against surgery, but sometimes you'll catch me dressing like a guy. I don't wear make-up or nothing. I'm also bi and it may be the gender role thing coming in. If I was with a girl, I'd want to play the male gender role. But for the most part, I enjoy being a girl.

There's nothing 'wrong' with you - you are experiencing something which may seem to be absurd and attract significant confusion.
The truth is, not everything will have a clear cause and explanation, especially in the domain of abstract, internal experience. Perhaps answers will come to you with time - the best thing to do for yourself now is to observe with an open mind, and restrain any instinctive desire to judge.
