It had many negative reviews, and basically with "this movie sucked" kind of response. But in my opinion, I found this movie to be, somewhat, great.

There are three endings. The third one was omitted because it was deemed too gory, it was only shown in one theater.

The ending I saw:

I mean, some unknown force is throwing you, it is just as scary as hell.

What I liked is the fact that this force isn't your random Ghost. It was denoted several time that it is a demon, and the footprints...

I haven't seen all of it but I have seen some clips and previews of it on the Internet. It doesn't look that great at all, looks like the cheesy paranormal stuff TV series, which I've watched before and felt let down that something so horrible was aired on TV.

lol, in the theater i called it an attic demon when the footsteps led to the attic, then when they went up into the attic i was like "oh, my mistake people, its a popcorn demon, way cooler" i dont normally talk like that during movies, i whisper, i just felt like i had to say that.

the throw ending made me jump because he just fricken flew at the camera, then that bitch ate the screen, gah wtf!

I thought it was decent. Some of it was creepy but not necessarily scary. Like, the fact that she stood there for like 3 hours watching her husband/boyfriend sleep was effing weird. Eh. I'd watch it again but skip til about the middle. Lol

It was mediocre in my opinion, didn't really scare me, I did jump once or twice when seeing it in the cinema.

Half the time I was laughing at the reaction of my friends that a girls screaming.

I laughed all the way through, the only bit I liked was when she was dragged from her bed by the demon. The luminate (sp) board bit, that was also quite good, but otherwise it was shit.

Not so much I'm afraid. I, gladly, didn't waste my money watching it. Everyone I knew made such an amazing hype about it, so I figured it was amazing.
"I was crying when I left."
"I had to sleep with the TV on for a week."
"I was scared to drive home alone after it."
But, unfortunately, I didn't find it scarey in the least bit. Yes, I jumped at the "screamer" parts. Those being the sections where a sudden burst makes you jump on impulse. Other than that however, I found myself a bit bored with the movie.

Some friends told me it was really scary. I don't like those kind of movies, although I don't really get scared, not my kind of adrenalin rush; give me a roller coaster any day.

i cried but i live in a religious family and had a ghost in my last house that messed with my lil brother in my moms room while she slept... at first i thought it was my lil bro trying to get attention but when he slept in my room one night and my door opened and shut rely hard i slept in my moms room i was 15 (16 now) so the movie just made my terrible nightmares comeback...

I haven't seen it, because it was decided by many to be ridiculously corny. But... Well, you guys seem to think it;s good and I'm one for a good ghost horror flick, so I should buy it when it comes out... If it hasn't already.

I've got to go figure this out, now. ;n;
