I predicted that VT will be blocked and guess what? It came true :'(

Good thing I can access it at school. I can also use a proxy to come here

but I can't believe they blocked THIS place. I mean, what is bad about this place?

Mom catches me on this forum, she sees someone's avatar (a boy's photo) and she immediately thinks it's bad and I'm chatting.

She goes to the index, and first thing she sees is RELATIONSHIPS AND DATING. and guess what??? Just because of that ONE FORUM she thinks this forum I come here to DATE PEOPLE

and because of someone's photo SHE THINKS I AM DATING HIM!!!!!!!!

It's not freaking fair :'( also she took away my laptop.

But I am not using ANY OTHER COMPUTER because all my data and info is on there, and there is no way I will waste my time transferring them all

What should I do? :'(

You have to be more tactful, whenever you get you're laptop back you you need to use proxy's and delete history, clear cookies and when you leave the room make sure you either minimize or X out VT.

^ This. Also minimize the relationships and dating section and change your skin to something else, so she won't think.

Your mother is like many others. If some people were caught on this site they might get into more trouble than you. She thinks she is trying to protect you but maybe if you convince her to allow you to show her the site she might reconsider her decision. VT is a great community, but some people can't see that. It is unfortunate.

My mom knows about VT. She knows I'm part of a site, not what site. Because, if I sat down and showed her, she could get on here and track me down which would be WAY uncool.

But, I would just be more tactful when you use VT. I have my own personal laptop and I even clear all my history and cookies after using VT. I also put a lock on my user account and hide my laptop when I'm gone for an extended period of time.

i found you can access it quite easily on any mobile browser. if your phone has internet you can go on there. im not sure if your parents can check to see the sites youve been on though

I know this is how you feel Jess, but it is true. She feels she is doing the right thing for you. It may not be true but isn't that every good parents goal? To do the right thing for their child? This is what your mother is doing.

I know it is hard to deal with for if this place was ever blocked on my computer I'd go crazy. Just don't let it get to your head. There are many other computers you can use to get on this and maybe you can eventually try to reason with your mother. This place is not for dating it is for help. If you need help and she won't let you come back here then there are many other places on the internet and in real life.

You can minimize the different sections by clicking the white arrow in the top right corner of the section title (If you're using forever blue). It might be different with the other styles though.

Try to keep the page out of site then. Keep using the proxy and if you have problems with it try to find a better one. I don't really know what to say other than good luck.

well if you have internet explorer, when you open a new tab and it goes to the page that has a bunch of options, on the right hand side there is a thing that says "browse with inprivate" click the link and it will open a window that does not save any history

I use Chrome but I think I still use it incognito. but still, even if it doesn't record the history she can still see me on it CURRENTLY :S
