Posts per day

Something is strange. I obviously post more than 1.71 or something per day, and it only goes up by point-something. Why is this?

You joined April 26, 2009. Thats roughly 380 days, 664/380 = 1.74, close to what you have. Its by how many posts total, and all your days, despite if you log on or not.

All it does is average your amount of days vs your posts.
Doesn't really matter if you make 50 posts every day for a week; it just depends on the average or rate or whatever its called

Ah. Thanks, but wouldn`t it be easier just to automatically calcuate peoples daily posts and then reset them once the day is over?

Umm no because that doesn't give people an accurate count of Posts Per Day...
it just gives how many posts they had in a given day which isn't the point of it

That's not what it means though, its an indication of your overall activity level, what you want is "posts today" not "posts per day"
