sorry i havent been here for a while (long story) but anyways i was wondering why everyone makes such a big deal about penis size? maybe im a slow developer but im really not that big in that are but to be honest it doesnt really bother me because i dont get naked in front of other guys or play school sports but if i did i think i might feel self conscious about it.

my point is, why is penis size such a big deal? why do so many guys feel like they have to brag about their big dicks when they cant do anymore with their then i can with mine? im probably gay (95% sure) so I doubt i'll ever have to please any girls anyways.

Yup, gay guys like size, but not enough to hurt. It also cannot be too small, or the sensation is not intense enough. It always plays a part, but not really that important for gay guys, and you have a few years left to grow.

For normal guys, dick size kind of is a confidence boost, which is really important to some guys during puberty.

My Uncle is a Doctor, so I asked him this question, since he's a medical professional, and not just a "layman" or someone that's like the rest of us: HORNY BOYS. Here was his answer:

Until Boys reach the age of 12-13, their "equipment" is all the same size: SMALL (unless an imbalance thing).

As they proceed into puberty, some are advancing quicker than others, so it becomes a topic of conversation. NOT SOMETHING FOR THE DINNER TABLE!! lol Be it muscles (shoulders/legs/arms) hair growth in all the places that it's never been before it's all new and exciting....but then when it gets to the penis...and as the hormones begin to kick in, and guys begin to feel that feeling between their legs, and something has to give, so it's J/O time.

Guys begin to realize how unique their equipment is; they look at others, so it just becomes a topic..and guys just talk. Small guys feel a little inferior; Large guys (like my friend Bo who is HUGE) actually are embarassed, because EVERYONE else is smaller. But, in general, it's something - after guys start developing at their own pace - that they're more comfortable talking about it as they get older - TOGETHER.

It's not like they're using it as a weapon, they just look around and see everybody else growing along with them.
