As I lay here shattered
I sit here thinking of you
Lying here in a broken mess
While tears stain my pillow
There is nothing to hope for
Nothing to hold onto
For I am nothing.
I just want the pain to go away
I don’t want to be broken..
I can’t forget the feeling, it hurts too much.
I grow numb with intense pain
As I grab a piece of broken glass
To feel some relief
The deeper I go
The better I feel
The more satisfied I am with myself
Beautiful crimson red drips down from my veins
Staining my sheets.
I still can’t hide from this pain.
No matter how many times I cut, no matter how deep I go
The pain returns.
Killing me inside.
For I know I’m alone in this world
